About Dr. Valerie A. Flores

Dr. Valerie A. Flores has been a Physician at San Diego Fertility Center since 2024 and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine since 2023. She completed an MD in 2012 and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 2019 both from from the Yale University School of Medicine. She also completed a FACOG degree. She provides services including In vitro fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination, Egg Freezing, and Fertility Preservation.

Dr. Flores served as a Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Brown University from 2012 to 2016 and a Physician-Scientist of the Reproductive Scientist Development Program (RSDP) at Yale University School of Medicine from 2019 to 2022. She was an Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine from 2019 to 2022 and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Reproductive Partners Fertility Center - San Diego from 2022 to 2024. She is a member of the Society of Reproductive Investigation, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Valerie received the Society of Reproductive Investigation (SRI) Early Career Investigator Award supported by the National Institutes of Health, the SRI/Bayer Discovery Grant, and the Bennack-Polan Foundation Grant. She received the Early Career Investigator Award from the Society for Reproductive Investigation in 2024, the Resident Research Award in 2015, and the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2014 and 2015 from Women and Infants Hospital. She also received the John R. Hubbard Award from the University of Southern California. She is the Chair of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Endometriosis Special Interest Group (EndoSIG).
