About Dr. Said Daneshmand

Dr. Said Daneshmand has been a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, Infertility Specialist, and Partner of San Diego Fertility Center since 2017 and an Associate clinical professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine since 1999. He completed an MD from the New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York, and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center. He also completed a FACOG degree. He provides services including In vitro fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination, Egg Freezing, and Fertility Preservation.

Dr. Daneshmand served as a Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center and a Practice Director at the Fertility Center of Las Vegas. He served as the President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He is a member of the Decherney Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). He is an Associate Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. He serves on the board of several surrogacy advocacy groups. He speaks French, Spanish, and Farsi languages.

Dr. Said received the Dr. & Mrs. D. Harrison Scholarship Awards for Achievement of the Highest Academic Standing at Medical School Graduation, and the Martin L. Stone M.D. Award in Obstetrics & Gynecology for Outstanding Leadership & Achievement in May 1993. He received the Eileen H. Pike, Ph.D. Memorial Award in Microbiology for Academic Excellence in May 1993, and the Lange Publications Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement as Top Ranked Medical Student in August 1991. He received the Practicing Physician Award for the Most Outstanding Presentation by a Practising Physician, at Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, 47th Annual Meeting in 1999. He also received the Second Place Poster Award at the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, 48th Annual Meeting in 2000, and the Practicing Physician Award for the most outstanding presentation by a practicing physician at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society in 2008.
