Dr. Paul R. Shin

Dr. Shin served as an Executive Board Member for the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR) from 2011 to 2013 and was the Program Chair for the 2012 SSMR meeting. He served on the Strategic Planning Committee for the American Society of Andrology meeting in 2014. Dr. Shin has served on the Urology Care Foundation’s Reproductive and Sexual Health Committee since 2014 and is currently a Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU) Board Member.

Dr. Paul has been a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine since 2014. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Society of Andrology, the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology, and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction. Dr. Shin provides treatments including Infertility, Vasectomy, Sexual Dysfunction, and Male Infertility Treatments.

Dr. Shin has been featured multiple times on Washingtonian’s Top Doctors List in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017 to 2019, as well as 2023 and 2024, and has been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2022 to 2025. He was named a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2022 and 2023. Dr. Paul received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s prestigious Traveling Fellowship Award in 2001. He also co-authored the Best Urology Video titled “Robotic Assisted Vasovasotomy (RAVV): A Pilot Study,” which was recognized by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2003.
