About Dr. Norbert Gleicher

Dr. Norbert Gleicher is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist in New York. He earned an MD from the Medical University of Vienna and a fellowship in Reproductive Immunology from the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also completed a FACOG and FACS degrees. He provides treatments, including Frozen Embryo Transfer, Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Intrauterine insemination (IUI), and In Vitro Fertilization.

Dr. Gleicher was a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He was also a Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Professor at Rush Medical College. He has been a President, Medical Director, and Chief Scientist at the Center for Human Reproduction since 1981. Dr. Norbert was awarded the Dr. Solomon Silver Award in Clinical Medicine. He performed the world's first successful transvaginal egg retrieval, reported in The Lancet in 1983.
