Dr. Margareta D. Pisarska

Dr. Pisarska served as an Intern from 1992 to 1993 and a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1993 to 1996 at Lenox Hill Hospital. She also served as a Research Associate/ Staff Physician at Women’s Reproductive Health Research Scholar Stanford Medicine from 1999 to 2004 and Co-Director at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Center for Reproductive Medicine from 2004 to 2007. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of California from 2004 to 2011, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 2009 to 2017, and Site Director at UCLA/Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 2010 to 2017. She was later a Co-Director, Center for Androgen-Related Research and Discovery from 2010 to 2012 and Director of Garret Student Clinical Rotations from 2016 to 2018 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She was also an Associate Professor In-Residence Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California from 2011 to 2018.

Dr. Margareta currently serves as an IVF Director, Program Director, Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Research Mentor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She has been a Professor In-Residence Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles since 2018. She is also a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Cedars-Sinai, Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Center. She has received the ASRM Star Award in 2021 and 2022. She was America’s Most Honoured Doctor and Southern California's Top Doctors in 2021. She also received the award of the Top Doctors Los Angeles Magazine in 2020 and the REAP Award, Office of Research on Women's Health.

Dr. Pisarska was an Ad-Hoc Reviewer Integrative and Clinical Endocrinology and Reproduction Study Section at the National Institute of Health from 2007 to 2012, and a Division member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2011 to 2019. She was a Chief and Board of Directors Member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2016 to 2019. She has been a Reviewer, with Special Emphasis on Panel Science Review Groups since 2013, a Reviewer of ad-hoc CMIR, ICER, PN, P50 Study Section since 2014, and a Reviewer of perinatology Neonatology Study Section since 2022 at the National Institute of Health. She is a member of the IFPA International Federation of Placenta Associations, the American Gynecological Obstetrical Society, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
