Dr. Manish Banker

Dr. Banker's educational journey began with his MBBS degree from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad in 1984. He then pursued his specialization in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, obtaining an MD degree from Seth K M School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research in Ahmedabad in 1987. Equipped with a strong academic foundation, Dr. Banker embarked on a mission to revolutionize infertility treatment and laparoscopic surgery.

His expertise includes performing procedures such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-uterine insemination (IUI), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), and artificial insemination. He also offers specialized programs such as the Embryo Donor Program and Egg Donor services. Additionally, Dr. Banker is skilled in utilizing cutting-edge techniques like natural cycle IVF and vitrification and cryopreservation for eggs, sperm, and embryos.

Dr. Banker's exceptional contributions to the field of reproductive medicine have been widely recognized and honored. The Medical Council of India (MCI) bestowed upon him the prestigious B.C. Roy National Award, recognizing his excellence and dedication in promoting the development of specialties in different branches of medicine. He has also been the recipient of notable awards such as the Gujarat Gynaec Excellence Award in 2020, the Most Admired Global Indian award in 2019, the Gujarat Ratna Gaurv Award in 2019, and the ISAR late Dr. Prabha Malhotra Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018-19.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Manish Banker actively engages in various professional memberships and committee roles. Since 2012, he has served as the President of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), leading the society's efforts in advancing the field of reproductive medicine. He has also been involved as a member of the Draft Committee for the ART Bill of India under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and has held positions as a board member of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproductive Endocrinology and as a regional representative for the International Committee for Monitoring ART (ICMART). Furthermore, he has made significant contributions as the Chairman of the Infertility Committee at the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).
