About Dr. Joseph Adashek
Dr. Joseph Adashek has been a perinatologist and co-founder of Desert Perinatal Associates, serving the Las Vegas and Henderson areas since 2001. He earned a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1984 and an MD from Penn State College of Medicine in 1989. Dr. Adashek completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Irvine, in 1995.
Dr. Adashek completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University in Chicago in 1993. He provides treatments including Maternal-Fetal Medicine, High-risk pregnancies, Genetic Testing, and Gynecology Services. Dr. Joseph was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as being among the top 1% of physicians nationwide in the field of perinatology. He served on committees, including the State Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the State Board of Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Joseph serves as the Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at both Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and Southern Hills Hospital. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and an instructor at Touro University. He was honored with the Inspired Excellence in Healthcare Award by Las Vegas HEALS in 2015 and recognized by Planned Parenthood for their outstanding work with women in 2016.
