About Dr. Grant Schmidt
Dr. Grant Schmidt has been a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, Infertility Specialist, and Founder of Ohio Reproductive Medicine since 1987. He completed an MD from the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Medicine in 1976 and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Ohio State University Hospitals in 1982. He also earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri. He provides services including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Fertility Care, Polycystic Ovarian Disease, and Tubal Occlusion.
Dr. Schmidt was a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1982 and a Residency in Pathology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is a clinical assistant professor of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at OSU’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility with Riverside Methodist Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio. He has been recognized by Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in Emerging Leaders in America.
Dr. Grant is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Robert A. Ross Obstetrics & Gynecologic Society, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the American Society of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society of Assisted Reproduction Technology. He was a past president of the Columbus Obstetrics & Gynecologic Society.
