About Dr. Debbra A. Keegan

Dr. Debbra A. Keegan is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and general obstetrics and gynecology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development in 1992 from Cornell University and an MS in Biology from NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science. She later pursued an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2000 from New York University School of Medicine and a FACOG. She also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Clinical Fellowship in 2007 from NYU Fertility Center. She provides various treatments and services including LGBTQ family building, Fertility preservation, Egg or Embryo freezing, and Infertility.

Dr. Keegan served as an Intern and Resident at NYU Langone Medical Center from 2000 to 2004 and as Associate Physician at IVF Florida Reproductive Associates from 2007 to 2010. She is the Chief Medical Officer at IRMS Institute for Reproductive Medicine in New York and New Jersey and Director of the Ovum Donation Program. She is Jersey’s Best Magazine Top Doctors in 2020, and 2021, Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2019-2024, Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine in 2020-2023, and Castle Connolly Top AAPI Doctor in 2023.

1. Dr. Keegan is one of the first physicians in New Jersey to work with transgender youth and egg freezing as a means of fertility preservation.

2. Dr. Keegan actively teaches medical students and residents. She also oversees a community outreach program designed to bring an informal approach to sex education for middle school students.

3. Dr. Keegan’s volunteer efforts include serving on the board of the Life is Great Global Foundation as Chief Development Officer. In this role, she participates in international medical missionary work by performing gynecologic surgery and cervical cancer screening in medically underserved areas.
