Dr. Shirish Daftary

Dr Shirish Daftary is a Mumbai based gynecologist and obstetrician. He has been working since 1960. He specializes in gynecological and obstetrical treatments. He handles all cases of emergency surgery. He also handles all other gynecological problems. Dr Shirish Daftary completed his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College, Mumbai in 1957. Then he passed MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1960. He also completed his Fullbright Travelling Scholarship for residency training from USA. In 1987 he was also appointed as the president of FOGSI at Jaipur. He was the former dean of Nowrosji Wadia Maternity Hospital, Mumbai. He has worked with various reputed hospitals like Nowrosji Wadia Maternity Hospital (Mumbai), Cleveland City Hospital (USA) etc. Presently he consults privately at his clinic in Juhu. He has presented various research papers in national and international conferences. He has also written number of books. He has gained lot of experience in his field from USA.
