About Dr. Akanksha Mishra
Dr. Akanksha Mishra is an Embryologist and IVF Specialist in Delhi. She completed her BSc in Biochemistry and Zoology from Mumbai University in 2001, and an MSc in Clinical Embryology and Biochemistry from the same university in 2003. She later earned a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR) in 2011. She also earned her second MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford, UK in 2012. Her wide range of treatments and services includes IVF, ICSI, vitrification of embryos and oocytes, testicular sample processing, sperm freezing and banking, laser-assisted hatching, and ovarian tissue cryopreservation.
Dr. Mishra served as a Senior Embryologist at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, and as an Embryologist at Babies and Us Pvt Ltd. from 2006 to 2011. She later embarked on a journey as a self-employed freelancing embryologist from 2019 to 2023. She is currently a Chief Embryologist and Director of Janini IVF located in New Delhi. She has more than 30 scientific manuscripts published in International Journals to her name. She is the only embryologist from this entire country who has the degree of Masters in Clinical Embryology from Oxford University.
